Seventeen Men from the Connecticut Troops have arrived, and there is wanting to Compleat them, five Musket Cart[ridges] & bore for return to [Helen Carmall?], [two?] for Baking — only two fifes is wanting for them & Major [Huntington's?] Company — the Camp Kettle that [undecipherable] from New York proves to be very base so not more than two [in?] of them will hold Water.
