There is a James Franey of [undecipherable], a Serjt of the 1st Reg of Cap Hamilton's Co. till July 1778 later than which I have no rolls, he says he was discharged in 1779 and having rejoined the Army in 1780 is entitled to his depreciation. Now I must request the favor of you to let me know from the rolls what time he was mustered discharged in 1779.
