Dear Sir
In five days after we left Charleston Bar we arrived in safety at N York, and yesterday I came to this city — enclosed are the papers of Lieut Moore who I think ought to be granted agreeably to his petition — I presume you are by this time signing the certificates and hope by the first of August that you will compleat them.
