Agreeably to your request of the 3. Instant, I sent you inclosed Seventy-five Certificates from Number 89,276 to 89,350 inclusive, dated State of Penn.a the 3d Jan.y last, I do not wish to trust one Quire for fear of Accidents, and as I expect Mr Pierce will arrive before next post, a larger supply may be sent you — I should suppose it would be best to erase the word Pennsylvania out and insert that of Maryland —
Pray let me hear from you immediately on the receipt of this, and direct your next Packet to Mr Pierce on Public service — This will save Postage —
Mr Betts has not yet gone for Maryland — in place of which he is very unwell — The Lottery Ticket came safe, but I observe it is N.o 2375 in place of N.o 375 ten to one it is —
