Dear Sir
Inclosed you will receive the Receipts of the Gentlemen of the Office for their Salaries &c on Examining the Estimate I find that there was an overcharge in the Salaries of Mr Athern & Mr Bettleton amounting to 39½ dollars which you will find noted, this sum being sufficient to pay all the accounts against the Office. Took the liberty of adding my own to those you mention'd for which you have my Vouchers & Receipts.
Waited on Mr Bradford for his account which he so often sent for, he informs me that he gave an Order on you in favor of Mr Mercier for it, that he feels that rest until I hear from you.
Application has been made for the following sums
