This may Certify whom it may concern that a Certificate of Final Settlement No 26,033 dated State of N. York Jan. 1. 1784 Check Letter G. payable to Jonas Gilbert and bearing Interest from the 1st Jan. 1784 was issued from this Office by John Pierce Esquire & Paymaster & Commissioner for Settling the Accounts of the late army of the United States for the Sum of 1280 Dolls only as appears by the Original Register filed in said Office.
