[№ 106] Sir Philadelphia 10 May 1785 By a line from Capt Jonathan Dayton of the Jersey line I find there were two certificates issued to him by Mr Pierce that are not included in the returns sent you; they are as follows № 62,887 dated the 1 June 1784 for 432 [undecipherable] Dolls on Interest from 1^st July 1782 & № 62,888 date same day for six hundred & four Dollars bearing interest from the 1^st Jan^y 1785. The above certificates were granted for his pay & subsistence as P. R. Campⁿ James [undecipherable] Woll Esquire Joseph Howell Jun^r Sir Philad^a 10 May 1785 Agreeably to your request of the 30 ult last I have sent to M^r Woll Treas^r of Jersey as return of the two Certificates issued to you for pay & subsistence as P.
