I likewise forwarded you the Award made out by M^r Thomas May on the Reference entered into with Col^o Hollingsworth; since which nothing has passed between him and me on the subject. by the Award you will see there is one half of the money to be paid by Col^o [undecipherable: probable reading Hollingsworth] to the United States due December last past. I have reason to think that any demand of payment from him originateing from me would not be attended to, and that he has expectation of settling that Affair by discount; any commands you may Judge neccessary therein I will pass to him and inform you of the result.
