I am therefore induced to Apply to you in a particular manner in behalf of Major Jeremiah [undecipherable] of Colonel Baldwin's Artificers and myself late a [undecipherable] in the 2^nd Regiment of Artillery and will be particularly indebted to you to furnish him with returns of us similar to those of the Jersey Reg^ts - Both of us have been credited to Jersey and received our Depreciation from that State and are residents in it.
