Enclosed are the accounts of subsis. of the the Officers of the late German Reg. you will observe they are made up to the 1 Nov.r 1779 from which period the subsis. due them was made up on settlement of their accounts at the Treasury. Mr Green will return tomorrow, and as he goes on Horseback, I have been under the necessity of sending the papers by the stage directed (by his Desire) to him, he has promised to look for them at Baltimore and send them on - those Officers who resigned previous to the 10 April 1780 are noted. their subsis. is to be re- tained - pray inform me if Jack Hamilton has received the large Chest of Papers sent him and if you rece.d the Money I advanced on the occasion - I leave you to strike the Balance and make the A/c current.
