Dear Sir
I had wrote you some letters to go by Mr Green, which I suppose must have reached you till last evening when he returned from Baltimore, having gone no farther than that place on his intended Journey to Philadelphia, he sets out next week, in the mean time I have desired him to put the letters into this days mail. A certain John Coo[undecipherable: probable reading Coon] of this State has fraudulently obtained his depreciation twice from the Auditor he belonged to [undecipherable] in Hazens Regt untill the close of the war. I are therefore to request that you will be so kind as to write to Capt Lloyd the Agent and request him to [undecipherable] Retain the Certificates in his hands that Justice may be rendered the state of maryland.
I want a list of the Men and the Credit given by them to this State on the settlement of Hazens Regt
