Dear Sir
Yours of the 10th Ulto arrived to day — I have been here almost a fortnight & hope to compleat the accounts of this & the Georgia Line by the first of May as I find Congress are at N: York, I presume the public Offices have as well follow them — the memorial of mine must also be of course & I suppose the Treasury & war Offices will direct it — I hope great care will be taken in respect to the Papers that they be not deranged as in our flight to Princeton. I am &c
