Pay Office 22 Feb^y 1785 To my self We have to inclose you an Estimate of Certificates issued by J^no Pierce Esq^r paymaster General and James Milligan Esq. Comptroller to the Al. State to the non commissioned Officers and Investors of the late Lines of Pennsylvania on a final settlement of their Accounts — They leave to observe to your Excellency that the Estimate for Gen^l Waynes Reg^t and those that, Now are not as accurate as I could wish owing to the Regimental paymasters omitting to mention in their last Returns the state to which the Men belonged. I am however Sensible that this Estimate will fall short of what has been issued to the Quota of Pennsylvania. I am yours &c.
