Jachson] Annapolis, Nov 6. 1784 Sir I now enclose you the arrangement of the North Carolina line, a return of the Officers Prisoners and a sufficient rule of what money is supposed to be still due from the [strikethrough: [undecipherable]] here — the Secretary at War as [undecipherable] informs me that none of the arrangements that were formed for the Carolina Line was returned to Congress, therefore would not be confirmed, the one now sent in his own hand writing is what has always [undecipherable: devoted?] been — I send on the Estimate wishing you whenever you draw an Officers account to notice from them in an account current the amount of what is still due to them in money [undecipherable] by his oath — and that you will collect this in to one general return to be laid before Congress for the money — the one I send you is [undecipherable] to be uncertain, but will serve to check the Officers accounts — tomorrow I leave [strikethrough: [undecipherable]] Virginia.
