New Haven Oct 28, 1784 Sir I am Inform'd that I am intitled to one Years Pay in Consequence of a late Resolution of Congress granted for the Benefit of Prisoners. I was taken y^e 10 of December 1777 Exchange of 8 of October 81 & presume if allow'd bears to Claim an equal right. I commanded as Col the 3^d Battallion of this State — should my claim be justly founded please to send the pay by Cap^t David Bushnall who has Power to act in my behalf.
