Philadelphia Sept 29^th 1784 — Dear Sir I have received yours N's — with the enclosures and again forward another quire of [undecipherable] papers. from N° [strikethrough: 246] to [strikethrough: 295] — [undecipherable] Enclosed is a letter from M^r Nicholson the Comptroller General relating to the question of M^r Richmonds concerning Hartleys regiment, which will give him as much information as we are able — it is probable that those soldiers were all enlisted and [undecipherable] for as Pennsylvanians up to the first of January 1781 the time of the revolt — I am Sir your Obedient Serv^t Jos Nourse John White Esquire
