Currt and [undecipherable] up to said Month, and in-[undecipherable] said Nichols, and that I should [undecipherable] render the receipts of many them Copied over before I sent you the acc-ompanying Vouchers. I do now transmit you the same, with sundry Accounts left with me by Col Pennington & [undecipherable] M[undecipherable] S. Surv[undecipherable], also a Copy of the Clothier's Accounts, with a Book containing General Greene's Accts for advances he made to Officers. You will likewise receive Accounts of Ballances due the United States from sundry Officers of the Cavalry, Horse & the [undecipherable] hines as settled with them by me — I also inclose you a Bill of Exchange drawn by M^rs M: Mathews on her Husband the late Govern^or Mathews in favor of General [undecipherable] for two hundred [undecipherable] sixty six dollars [undecipherable] transmitted to the General by the Superintendent of Finance [undecipherable] Bill was refused [strikethrough: Acceptance] and the General did not [undecipherable] to have it [undecipherable] Protested.
