Pittsburgh July 9^th 1784. Sir, Your favor of the 14th ult. I duly receiv'd by Major Tudor & immediately waited on M^r Read, to whom I represented the necessity of transmitting you an Acc^t of the Money mead [undecipherable] by any further delay; at the same time & delivered him the letter you wrote to him by Major Tudor, who promised to make out his Acc^t and send them by the 1^st opportunity; I applied to him again yesterday & he assured me he had sent them by M^r Powell who left this 20^th days ago.
