June 16th 1784 Joseph Nourses Regt Relating to Gen Washingtons receipt Registers Office, agillegible 16 June, 1784. Sir, Upon stating the Account of His Excellency Genl Washington, for Entry in the Books of this Office I find Major General M’Dougall,is charged with Two hundred eighty pounds Lawful money in Species - 933.30 90 Dollars for Secret Services. This may be [illegible] for you to be acquainted with, as also, that on the settlement of th eGeneral’s Account of Expenditure. Capt [illegible]ath Bomman appears accountable for [illegible] hundred continental Dollars paid him by the General,y. 16’June, 1780 on account of travelling expenses. General Knox is charged June 21 1780 with 1200 [illegible] Major General Greene " 2015. Lieut. Prentice Ho[illegible] " 300.
