Morris's Notes, three [undecipherable] right D[undecipherable] which I have directed to you, and have [undecipherable] from [D.?] Morris that they will be good on being presented to M'[undecipherable] — [Confidential] The reason you are to pay [with?] the American Regiment, the Artillery, the Invalids, [and?] the Hospitals — and you will please to [give?] money to no other character without [undecipherable]ing [those?] orders to me — and to throw no [undecipherable] them at the commencement of [such?] a trouble. The subsistence of the third month in [undecipherable] already credited you will [have?] [eight?] hundred & eight Dols. the vouchers brought here by [Col.?] [undecipherable], I must [request?] you to take [these?] [undecipherable] as soon as very possible and forward one set to [meet?] this city as soon as possible.
