I received yours of 16th Instant respecting the powder Carbs, for my part I should think the Matter had better be deft till next fall if they Cannot be procured at most for four Shillings Currency and then if it should be determined to keep what Powder is here to make the Cartment. In the mean while to get laths and repair the old Carbs the Season, which if we have [strikethrough: gotten] a sufficient number of Cottons Can be done, though not so much to the purpifs.
