Dear Sir,
Colonel Trumbull is so good as to take Charge of my Accounts, for wages and Commutation & will settle them for me — I have also sent by him my Ration Acct in hopes that Colt [undecipherable: Stuart] has by this time exhibited his Accounts; if he has not, it's not probable he ever will — If it is hard that my Account should lie open any longer, & I have Nothing for the Monies advanced for my Subsistence — I had it in my Power to pay myself by drawing Articles from the Commissary & Selling them —
