Philadelphia Apr 14. 84 To Dav'd Oliphrant Director of the Southern Hospital [Copied] Philadelphia April 14. 1784 Sir You will much oblige me and the officers of your department, if you will please to furnish me with a Roll containing the Names, ranks and pay of the officers of the Southern Hospital from the first day of January 1782 — Shewing when they entered the service and the time and reason of their leaving it — and also the different charges against those Gentlemen who may have some under your notice — Those, [strikethrough: persons] who have been [strikethrough: too] accountable for [strikethrough: But accountable for the same] public monies or stores [strikethrough: upon which they may] you I will thank to point out, that a proper Stoppages may be made upon their payroles a settlement of their accounts.
