[Public Service] [Docket notation: 3fc / from Hu Williamson / March 20, 1784] Annapolis 27^th March 1784 Dear Sir The Minister of France has apply'd to Congress in favour of the family of the Sieur de la Radier who was of the Corps of Engineers and dyed in the service some 4 years ago, that they may obtain such advantages as are granted to [strikethrough: other Officers] the Heirs of other Officers who dye in the service of the US. Will you be so good as inform me what Rank did that Officer sustain. Was there any Pay Due him.
