I am sensible embarrassments of a peculiar nature has prevented your attention to my several estimates — When I had the pleasure of seeing you last you gave me encouragement to expect payment of those that respected the Armoury immediately, perhaps this in the Multiplicity of business may have slipped your Memory; I am now under the necessity of making another application, as the undertakers have informed me, that for want of money they must discharge the principle part of their workmen this day — the State of the times would render this injurious to the public, and if possible I am sure you will prevent it — I have other Accounts to estimate but shall not lay them before you at present
