Major Porter, informs me he has lost a letter of Attorney, Colonel Hay gave me to Receive his Pay & Subsistance, the Certificates I have recived, and gave Major Porter an Order the back of the former for the Christmas and hay for 1783, I will thank you should it be presented to you for payment, to Stop it. I will procure another of Colonel Hay, when I go to the Point —
