Your favour of 28th Ult.o I have received and agreeable to your recommendation have just forward Mr. Phiedorus Vanwygh with the orders to obtain certificates for them.
You will be so kind as to [undecipherable] him with the list of persons in the three Massachusetts Regiments that was forwarded to camp with my letter to enable them to settle with each Paymaster. I shall be grateful for any civilities shewn him & happy in having it in my power to serve you here,
