Philadelphia February 25^th 1784 Sir Inclosed is the estimate I mentioned to you when I had the pleasure of seeing you last — and as I believe the total amount due from the Department of Military Stores in Virginia — Mr. Fitzsimmons has an Order on me for the balance due John and James Calloway; I have given him to understand that the payment would be made in Notes, which he has agreed to take — If it is not convenient to Issue the Notes for the whole estimate I must intrest that a considerable part of it may; as many of the people are distress'd and some of them uneasy — Honorable Financier S.H.
