West Point Aug 24. 1784 Dear Sir I have rec'd yours of the 10^th & 12^th & the papers books & money forwarded with them. you will receive inclosed a letter to M^r Morris, to be seal'd & presented to him — also an account of payments to be noted to the order of J^no Wetmore Esquire and an account [undecipherable] in — this office to be entered to the credit of [undecipherable] — account — the vouchers also accompany these accounts — I wrote M^r Reed well beforehand to give me a return of the private account — particularly M^r Wetmore & my own, and every other not closed in the books — I have sent two thousand Dolls to [undecipherable] & fifteen hundred to [undecipherable], of the money you sent me in January to be exchanged for Specie — which exhausted me so much that the Morris last winter was very acceptable — I drew out the accounts for settlement and sent them on to you — I hope they are received — I think it will be best to close this years accounts as far as you can in the same general account with the last year — M^r Audbert — [M^r Audbert — Aug^t 24. 1784 — Copied ✓]
