[Col Edw^d Antill Feby 15^th 1784 — Copied — Hargins] West Point Feby 15 1784 I receiv'd this day y^r two favors of the 1[undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] and never heard that the resolve you quote, was proposed, I have taken no method, to place in my hands any monies for discharging the subsistence [undecipherable], for which reason it will be necessary that I have a return of all the Officers of the regiment who fall under the description of this resolve, and of the subsist^ce that is due to them, that I may make an application for the money. If Congress have made a subsequent order on the subject I am ignorant of it — Being soon to close the accounts of your regiment, I wish you to furnish me, with an account of all the monies you have advanc'd to [undecipherable] the Officers for subsisting — It appears necessary that I have this account soon as it will be disagreeable if the settlement should be delayed for that reason.
