Dear Sir I was the last evening honored with the receipt of your favor of the 21 Ulto — I thank you most cordially for your attention to my affairs — two things I mentioned to you on which you do not remark one relative to a bill Mr. Ferguson put me drawn on Mr. Petit, I wrote that bill is in the hands of Mr. Carleton I wish to know whether Mr. Plat will or will not honor it — if he will not honor it pray write to Mr. Ferguson to know what shall be done in the matter, perhaps it is that is the best mode and inform Mr. Ferguson of it I also mentioned my wish that you would find me three barrels of Common pom barrel of Superfine flour by the very first opportunity this request [strikethrough: —]
