[undecipherable] to be here as the order is not positively certain I now Trouble you again on a person [state?] by [at Parsons] a resolve of Congress [undecipherable] [the] [undecipherable] in [January?] 1783 [and Parsons] in resolve of Congress [that] the Officers of the [Department] among other things Direct[s] that the Officers of the Department [lately] Comm[an]d by Brig[adier] Gen[eral] Hazen who as at [Commencement] of the war were Inhabitants of Canada Shall Continue to Receive of their former Subsistance until the further Order [of Congress] is I look upon myself to fall within the above Description I would be much oblig'd to you to inform me whether I can Receive my Subsistance which is Due me from be[ing such inclusive?] If you can pay it I will be Extreemly glad to Receive it trans mitted by You to this Place inclosing Such Recei[pt] as you may think proper as your Voucher which I will Sign & [trans]mit to you by the first Safe oppertunity.
