Yours of the 17th and 20th are come today–you may rely [that] there was no attention to your letter of the 4th of December [ill.] York as I was informed that Bank Notes answered these the same as Specie with [ill.] reason for sending them. I have received Mr. Parker’s rect. for the 1750 dollars. Since [ill.] we have not heard from him. Should he return the Bank Notes,[ill.]the Bank to give us the amount in [ill.] which shall be returned to him [ill.] I have inclosed you duplicate of Genl. Lincoln’s letter to Gen. Washington and the [ill.]relating to the Invalid Corps. The paper you alude too [ill.] are the letters you mention in your [ill.] are arrived. I am with mine and Mr. Reid’s compliments.
