I have recd your letter of the 19th & [undecipherable] see the Paymaster concerned. The certificates will be [undecipherable] to them and by them delivered to you —
as most of the accounts are closed I cannot alter the certificates or reduce them to a smaller number, tho' it might enable a few [undecipherable] on the whole it would confuse our business — there being so many persons who have purchased, that attending to one will [undecipherable]
