Basic Search

Advanced Search

  1. Match all of the following —Perform an exclusive search on all fields below, i.e. all queries below must be present.
  2. Match any of the following —Perform an inclusive search in all fields below, i.e. all queries below may be present.
  3. Field List:
    • Persons/Groups —Search in the “persons/groups” field
    • Locations —Search in the “locations” field
    • Items/Things —Search in the “items/things” field
    • Summary —Search in the “summary” field
    • Phrases —Search in the “phrases” field
  4. Contain Indicator:
    • Contains —The previous field must contain the following query
    • Does Not Contain —The previous field must not contain the following query
  5. Text Field —Full-Text Query
    • “+” —Add another field
    • “−” —Delete this field

Narrow Your Search

  1. Restrict to Date —Restrict the search results to those documents created “From” and “To” these dates. The following formats are valid: yyyy, yyyy/mm, or yyyy/mm/dd.
  2. Restrict to Author —Restrict the search results to those documents authored by this person.
  3. Restrict to Author Location —Restrict the search results to those documents authored at this location.
  4. Restrict to Recipient —Restrict the search results to those documents received by this person.
  5. Restrict to Recipient Location —Restrict the search results to those documents received at this location.
