Springfield October 11, 1800

Sir, Enclosed is the return of Receipts & deliveries...of military Stores for the quarter ending Sept30th...In the same may meet your approbation- the Armory return shall be forwarded as soon as I can procure amounts of expenditures from the Supt I have also enclosed is an Estimate of the probable [amount?] of expenditures for this dept. for the month of October 1800 [illegible] PS I hope you have recv'd. my Letter of the 8th advising of the receipt of yours of the 29 enclosing two thousand Dollars. Springfield Oct. 14 1800 Sir I have rec'd your letter of the 27 ulte. enclosing [illegible] of Hoop Iron for this [illegible] this day, the iron arrived a few days since at which time I gave my Receipt to Mr. [illegible] However as you request [illegible] of the Invoices [illegible] receipted & sent to you. you will find enclosed I am Sir Most respectfully Yr Obt Sert.
