Sir

Agreeably to the enquiry requested by your note a few days ago, the Register of the musters of the 9th Massachusetts Reg.t late commanded by Col. Wilson has been examined and the name of Isaac Pasburgh Ju.r does not appear thereon _ I do not find that any Settlement has ever been made with him_ & if it should now appear that he was entitled to a claim which had not been Settled it would be too late to make application, all claims for service & under the former Government having long since been barred & foreclosed by acts of Limitation [flourish]
