Conformably to directions I have received from the Secretary of the Treasury I request you would be pleased to deliver to Mr Robert McCormick, fifty musket barrels in order to enable him to complete his contract with the Public for small arms that you will be pleased to charge to him & deduct the amount from his bill when produced.
