I inclose you the affidavit of Joseph Cone a man who has resided in the Township a number of years and I am will affirm is the identical Joseph Cone who was an officer in the Canadian Regiment commanded by Col Livingston He is and has been for some time in a needy [illegible] by reason of an injury received by frost both in his hands and legs & feet at his request I inclose you his papers & any further information wanted, that he can give he will answer to upon information being made through me me __ He would at [illegible] himself is not able to bear the journey
