I have the honour to enclose the Depositions of Col. Aaron Burr and Matthias Halsted respecting my residence in Canada Qc - And also at the request of Mr John Dyer Mercier my Deposition respecting his residence in Canada Qc.
I some days since transmitted you an estimate of my hopes & as a refugee from the British Province of to be informed of the receipt of them and the enclosed papers will afford great satisfaction.
