Title

Necessitates Move to Sheppards Town; Makes Advances for that Purpose

Description

The Secretary of War thinks it best to remove stores to Sheppards Town as soon as possible. Requests arrangements to be made until an arsenal is built. Deliver to Major Langham, who will provide a list of needed items (tents and kettles not needed). A general order will allow him to make partial drafts until everything can be moved. Mackey must provide transportation to Sheppards Town. Wrote to Mr. Brindley with suggestions about canal, requesting repairs. Has sent a considerable amount of iron with Mr. Hunt--requests that Hunt be compensated.
