Certification that $97 is due Thomas Annely, being for his services as Inspector of Muskets, Pistols, Swords and all the parts and sorts of small arms and pistols purchased for the public, examining all arms to be repaired, and inspecting them when repaired to be used in Philadelphia and sent to the armourers at New London and Springfield between 25 May and 11 July 1798.
