Title

Advances for the Indian Trade

Description

Respecting the advance to be laid on the goods destined for the Indian trade, McHenry's directions are that only one-third of the cost of the goods be added, which should equal the expense of transportation, Byers' salary, and other charges. If one-third is not sufficient, Byers should increase it only enough to meet these expenses.
