Receipts are to be taken separately for each recruit and the several payments to each will be placed under one number of your vouchers in the account.
In the case of signature not being written it is to be witnessed by a person of respectability.
Observe that before your recruits march or are otherwise transferred from your command you are to pay them their full bounty any regulations in regard to paying the bounty notwithstanding.
The Secretary of War in his recruiting instructions has directed you in paying the bounty to advance certain proportions thereof until you have ascertained the fidelity of the recruit.
