Refund of the Deduction from My Pay
Description
Mercer finds that $38 has been deducted from his pay which ought to be refunded because he drew that money for Ensign Luce and paid it to him and took his receipt. Both Capt. Beatty and Mr. Luce have informed Mercer that the sum was charged to Mr. Luce and already deducted from his pay. The account should be examined and the money sent by Doctor Scott.
