Sir
I received your letter of 21st Instant and have Mustered Capt. Burbicks Company -- and the detachment of General [undecipherable last name] Regiment -- duplicate Rolls of which is enclosed
I never received but two months pay for any of the men -- and that was from Capt. [undecipherable last name perhaps Beaty] -- which receipt I cancelled by transmiting Mr. [undecipherable last name] Receipt, and Capt. [undecipherable last name perhaps Beaty] Returned me mine -- I am Sir [symbol for etc.]
