General Spencer in a Letter to M Burrae dated _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 1788
acknowledges the receipt of the above sum of 3126 83/90 dols when he tran(illegible)
his Accounts to this Office with a proper and legal Certificate this being on the
command here mentioned. I have no objection to closing his accounts as above stated.
He claims extra Rations while on this command but which cannot
be admitted by as the Acts of Congress do not authorize it being done.
