I have forwarded by the Bearer Mr. George[undecipherable last name] the returns of ordnance and Quarter Masters [undecipherable word] for month of March 1787 --
Agreeable to your letter of 16ht Ultimo, I have [undecipherable word] one thousand stand of arms that wanted the least repairs and have contracted with James [undecipherable last name] to repair and clean them at five shillings [undecipherable notation] Stand, his finding his own oil, [undecipherable word] & [undecipherable word crossed out] coals, besides making such [undecipherable word] as we have not in Store, which [two undecipherable words] [undecipherable word crossed out] [undecipherable word] [three undecipherable words crossed out], Springs for the [undecipherable word]--the [undecipherable word] find the Steel [two undecipherable words] --
