Pittsburgh 24th January 1794
I am instructed by Major Isaac Craig (who is now at Wheeling) to acknowledge the Receipt of your letter of the eighteenth instant, together with the Enclosures, and to Inform you that Major Cass, together with Captain Cooks Detachment, embarked and set off for Fort Washington on the Twentieth Instant. Captain Crawford is not yet Returned
