Expresses dismay at a reported need for additional supplies, particularly for shells, which cannot be obtained; casts aspersion on Turnbull & Marmie's Furnace, which has proved inadequate. Strongly suggests that the force now assembling at Pittsburgh descend the Ohio as soon as possible.
